Crucial encounter
The Manstore history begins in Paris, when the German Hans Schöler befriends the famous designer Paco Rabane. Highly fashionable, he creates futuristic and provocative pieces that will inspire Hans Schöler. The two men are quickly brought to work together. Hans Schôler is in charge of creating all the men’s underwear for the Paco Rabane house. The company Manstore is born, giving life to sexual, playful and sophisticated pieces.
Manstore spirit
Driven by innovation, avant-garde and provocation, the house becomes more independent and creates its own models. It launches the first string for men. A scandal that puts the brand on the front of the stage. In the 1980s and 1990s, Manstore continued to grow and opened stores in Amsterdam and Paris, as well as throughout Germany. Unfortunately, at the height of his glory, the creator dies at the age of 52. The family business Schöller can’t survive and collapse. Later, Alfons Kreuzer saves the house and reconnects with the Manstore roots. In 1996, he launched his first collections which are more extreme, more exhibitionist, with more visual elements.
